Your tender hands and unsure voice,
Making sure everything is always right.

Staring at today's paper,
Standing at the podium ,holding it tight.

A glance at the students,
Trying to check the eager learners
Scanning the class
And teaching us to look through the glass.

I remember the first day we met,
No one had a clue what was in for us.

The times you made us smile,
Telling us- in life you have to travel miles.
The times you made us cry,
Teaching us - nothing is prefect till you try.

You taught us-
how real pain feels like,
how to fall and
then how to rise tall.
How to regret and
how to forget.

The most important
how to leave and
how to live.
The time has passed,
Now you will move on,
To your next pupil.
Teaching them all that you taught us.
